ERP Functional Consultant - ERPNext

As a ERPNext Functional Consultant you will collaborate with business partners, functional teams, and the development team to design, configure, enhance, and test ERPNext and custom applications. You will document user requirements, propose designs, assess available technologies, write functional specification documents, configure and document system settings, and recommend solution options.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Analyze customer business requirements, needs, and objectives to design effective solutions.
2. Prepare solution designs and perform gap analysis for critical business requirements not addressed by standard ERP functionality.
3. Develop functional specifications for gaps requiring customization and work with the technical team to implement them.
4. Conduct process walkthrough workshops to demonstrate the solution to clients.
5. Develop User Acceptance Test (UAT) cases, assist customers in performing UAT, and resolve any issues encountered.
6. Assist in developing data migration strategies and templates.
7. Ensure a smooth and timely transition to ERP by mitigating risks identified during data migration and earlier implementation phases.
8. Provide post-go-live support independently.
9. Conduct short-format calls independently (e.g., UAT check-ins, support calls, module retraining).
10. Lead the entire data upload process into the ERP system.

Education and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. 6 months to 1 year of experience in Accounts, ERPNext, Odoo, or any ERP/open-source business application.
